Property and Administration

The portfolio leader is the Property & Administration steward, Steve Smith.

The vision of the Property portfolio is to care for the premises and provide administrative arrangements that support the life of the Church, glorify God and welcome and witness to all people in the community.

 

The portfolio covers the maintenance and care of the property, grounds and equipment involving

  • Managing cleaners

  • Managing equipment

    • Organ

    • Pianos

    • Photocopier

    • Computers and printers

    • Fire extinguishers

    • Lifts

    • Mobility chairs

  • Property booking

  • Producing Property schedule

  • Supporting Quinquennial inspection

  • Administration

    • Communication (internal and external) [under review]

      • Weekly notices

      • Monthly newsletter

      • External and internal notice boards

      • Press

      • Church directory

      • Website

    • Manage Church secretary

    • Manage Church office

    • Manage church insurance

  • Drafting policy on the use of the premises

  • Producing guidance notes on the use of the premised and equipment
