Wednesday is PRAY-DAY! A
guide for prayer
December & January 2007-8
Pray-Day is 6 am to
midnight each Wednesday
Thank you for taking up your slot in this prayer initiative!
I know that the 20 minutes you have committed to will fly by …
but in case you wanted some ideas, each pray-er will have this
guide.
Use it as you see fit!
Ignore it if you wish!
Follow it to the letter if you prefer!
Remember that other members of the Church family are praying
throughout the day, so if you don’t ‘cover everything’, others
will!
If you want to spend time in silence ‘waiting on God’, allow him
to speak to you without worrying that you should fill the whole
time with your words and thought-out prayers.
If you become distracted … it happens to all of us! Don’t be
downhearted! Notice that it has happened and bring your thoughts
back to God. Use a psalm or a Bible passage from our preaching
programme to help you.
Love & Every Blessing,
Catherine
