Meet the team

Great Ayton Methodist Church relies on a great many people who help in many ways to support the worship and work of the church. From making coffee, helping tidy the building or helping with activities or events to taking on a leadership role, help is always welcome.

Under the direction of the church council, the minister and leadership team are responsible for day-to-day decisions and leadership. You can meet the leaders and other key people you may come across below.

Rev Lisa Quarmby

I’m Reverend Lisa Quarmby and have pastoral responsibility for Great Ayton Methodist Church (along with Seamer and Easby churches which are smaller churches within the Stokesley circuit). I live in Great Ayton with my husband Andy and children Niamh and Sam… oh, and three cats: Fruitcake, Crumble and Rhubarb. If you need any of the help and support that the church can offer or are interested in any of the worship times or weekly events in the churches, do contact me on 01642 724968 or by email at
